International terrorists still have a fascination with aircraft and their amazing destructive possibilities since 9/11. Recent evidence shows that potential terrorists are determined to find new and innovative ways to bypass airport security systems and processes to achieve their objectives of creating mass casualties. This eBook explains how you can introduce multi deterrence layers to airport operations, aircraft and perimeters as special awareness increases special protection. This eBook will help you stop the spread of international terrorism via the use of aircraft and passengers. This eBook will introduce you to:
  • Protecting airports, aircraft and perimeters
  • Terrorist surveillance
  • Denying terrorist objectives
  • Reversing the threats of terrorism to aviation operations (protecting passengers)
  • Terrorist potential attack scenarios
  • Threat analysis and risk resolutions
  • Training aviation staff
  • Important priorities for passengers to protect themselves to mitigate risks while travelling abroad

Our Course Review from Mr Phillip Bretherton, Provider of Specialist Security & Surveillance Services

I have just completed a course in Anti and Counter Terrorism Studies with IACTTS as part of my personal development training for the specialist security industry. I would highly recommend this course as part of your personal development training. For those who work in the security industry in today’s world a terrorist can attack without warning.
Who will benefit from Anti and Counter Terrorism studies with IACTTS: Close protection officers, Security guards, Door supervisors. Due to the nature of our employment we have to be very vigilant. The more knowledge and training you have under your belt will help you prevent any terrorist attack at your place of work.
I found all the course modules very interesting and gained up-to-date knowledge on how the current terrorist organisations operate, which will help me in my duties as a close protection officer with my work around the world.
Regards,

Mr Phillip Bretherton

Security & Surveillance Services
